Sure, it might seem like a kind gesture to leave behind extra paint for touch-ups, but the reality is, most buyers see it as leftover clutter. Unless they specifically request it, assume they don’t want it. If they do want the paint for touch-ups, a better approach is to provide them with the paint codes so they can get fresh paint if needed. • Store Paint Codes for Easy Reference: Instead of leaving cans, write down the brand, color name, and paint code for the new owner.
